We have a fantastic opportunity for an FP&A Analyst to join our team based at our Head Office in Leeds.
As an FP&A Analyst you will supporting the finance, operational and other functional teams with planning & analysis, as well as working with external stakeholders of the business.
This is a key role supporting the regional Head Of/Directors in understanding the financial position of the contracts within their region. The role is responsible for analysing and monitoring the company’s performance, creating budgets / forecasts and identifying any variances between the plan and actuals. Alongside the core activities, the FP&A Analyst will provide input to the commercial agenda, working with the commercial team to produce pricing models for upcoming tenders.
This is a hybrid role with travel to head office or operational locations as required.

Main responsibilities:
- Monitor financial performance of contracts and report on key business KPIs.
- Provide FP&A support on new bids.
- Prepare, analyse, and communicate key financial information and provide support to management and other staff members regarding FP&A reporting and other related issues.
- Assist the Head of FP&A in developing fit-for-purpose processes and templates for budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring.
- Assist with budget preparation, monthly latest best estimates, financial planning processes and budget review for compliance and opportunities.
- Completes ad hoc projects and duties as required.
- Assist with reporting developments in Sage & PowerBI.
- Assist with build of budget templates & pricing model.
- Quarterly NHS reporting.
- Lead on uploading statistical accounts.
To be considered as a FP&A Analyst, you will need:
- Experience – A confident individual keen to develop and grow within a thriving business. Not afraid to challenge status quo and make suggestions for change.
- Presentation skills of financial results and confident articulation of financial concepts to non-finance people are a must.
- Excel skills - Advanced knowledge of Excel to produce reports and analysis. V-lookups, If statements and pivot tables are essential.
- PowerBI skills – previous experience of using PowerBI to create reports to be used by non-finance people.
- Technical skills – Part-qualified accountant or qualified through experience This role will include the option of study support towards a professional accountancy qualification.
- Organisational skills – Personal efficiency and ability to prioritise competing demands (and those of others), thriving when working under pressure and time constraints.
- Communications skills – Ability to clearly communicate across a range of stakeholders, manage diverse personalities and viewpoints and quickly build relationships and collaborate with others.
