WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Leeds office.

About this opportunity

Within the Network Development team, you will play a key role helping us change the way we deliver Network and Network Security services and keep pace with the evolving needs of our business.

We are looking for someone who can assist is with the largest ever transformation of Lloyds Bank networks services has undertaken.

What you'll do

  • Promote and enable the continuous enhancement of networks processes through automation and orchestration.

  • Lead in the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and orchestration to improve business agility and reduce operational overhead.

  • Able to see opportunities to reduce operating and change costs, enhance change accuracy, and adopt innovative ways to how we deliver change and service.

  • Contribute to the development of culture, operating models, and ways of working across the Network teams to ensure we have the right training and processes in place.

  • Act as a technical leader within the team, sharing your experience and expertise. Responsible for mentoring and influencing a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Ensure our people and processes are prepared for the future. By aligning with bank and network strategies, you will contribute to how we transform Networks.

What you'll need

  • Extensive network/network security experience: 5+ years in network, security or infrastructure roles.

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Python) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience of Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling is desirable with proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, Jenkins, Harness, Ansible, Terraform, Docker.

  • Experience in transforming network and network security services through automation would be highly advantageous.

  • Ability to lead initiatives and mentor junior colleagues. You enjoy sharing knowledge, guiding colleagues, and building an inclusive team environment.

  • You communicate effectively and can influence partners to align and collaborate on our objectives.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow
