Reporting into the Talent Development Business Partner, our Talent Development Advisor will support the Business Partner with learning requests and work collaboratively across the wider team to deliver on both short and long-term learning initiatives. You'll design, develop and deliver effective learning initiatives that enhance colleague skills, knowledge and behaviours that support improved capability and career development across the business. You’ll spend a high proportion of your time in the delivery of face-to-face (classroom or virtual) training, including the delivery of our Company Induction, which includes our Take Me There Values training.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • You’ll have a good knowledge of each business area, within the company and the job roles within those areas.
  • Either individually or alongside the Talent Development Business Partner, you’ll work with key stakeholders to understand the training needs for the learning request.
  • You’ll support the design of training which engages the audience using a variety of different methods to deliver the content.
  • You’ll review, adapt and evaluate existing training solutions that are aligned with the overall HR and business strategies.
  • You’ll positively influence the customer service culture amongst all of our colleagues by helping our teams to live and breathe the Take Me There Values and behaviours.
  • You’ll deliver Inductions, Take Me There and colleague and manager training sessions across the business which are engaging, participative and interactive.
  • You’ll review the feedback from attendees to ensure that the training is fit for purpose.
  • You’ll continually evaluates the development solutions being delivered and the impact that they are having on the business agreeing the level of evaluation based on the training needs (reaction, knowledge check, behaviour and performance impact)
  • You'll adapt existing training solutions so they are always aligned to the overall HR and business strategies.
  • You’ll support the Talent Development Team by taking into consideration return of investment.
  • You’ll analyse the long-term impact of the training to ensure engagement with our brand, our values and our behaviours.
  • You’ll work closely with the Talent development Coordinator to deliver an accurate, up-to-date schedule of training and prepare logistics and materials for each session.
  • You’ll continuously develop skills as a trainer, reviewing and improving delivery, taking on board feedback via observations and feedback from your delegates.
  • You’ll keep up to date with all developments related to the wider business and the L&D industry.


What You’ll Have

  • You’ll have experience in training design and delivery, including one-to-one training and in groups of various sizes, either in-person or virtual classroom.
  • You’re commercially aware and able to link learning and development to business goals, performance outcomes, and organisational priorities.
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels.
  • You’ll be able to think on your feet and adapt to short-notice changes.
  • You’ll have a real passion and enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.
  • You’ll have an organised and structured approach with attention to detail.
  • You’ll have the ability to engage with people at different levels to influence and gain cooperation.
  • You can work independently or as part of a team.
  • You’ll have the ability to work flexibly and positively support business change.
  • You’ll have the ability to prioritise and plan own workload under strict deadlines.
  • You’ll give feedback to others in a constructive manner.


This is a varied and exciting role with some travel based on business needs. Flexibility and short-notice changes to workloads may be required.
