Afrikindness is seeking a people-focused individual to join our Executive Board as the lead for Volunteer and HR Management. This is a strategic & operational role supporting the growth and wellbeing of our diverse team of volunteers.

What are we looking for?
Key Responsibilities Lead volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training processes. Develop and implement HR policies in line with legal and ethical standards. Create a volunteer engagement and recognition strategy. Maintain a central volunteer and HR database (with confidentiality protocols). Support conflict resolution, wellbeing, and team development. Contribute to organisational planning from a people-management perspective. Skills & Experience Required Experience in volunteer management, HR, or people operations (charity sector preferred). Strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safeguarding, data protection, and employment best practices. A passion for inclusion, wellbeing, and community empowerment. Ability to support and lead a diverse, remote team.
