Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Lead / Senior Developer


Location: Leeds, UK (Onsite – 4 days/week)


Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)


Salary: £75,000 – 85,000


About the Role


One of my clients, a global leader in digital transformation and technology services, is seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Lead / Senior Developer to join their team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects with a major enterprise client, contributing to innovative eCommerce solutions.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead the design and development of solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C (PWA/MRT) platform.

  • Create technical specifications and diagrams to guide development teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated web applications.

  • Mentor junior developers and share best practices.

  • Stay updated on emerging web technologies and contribute to internal process improvements.

  • Conduct performance analysis, debugging, and documentation of solutions.

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of critical enhancements and integrations.


Required Skills & Experience



  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Redux, Next.js, Bootstrap, GraphQL, and Node.js.

  • Experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFRA, SCAPI, SLAS).

  • Familiarity with serverless frameworks and micro frontends.

  • Strong understanding of code quality, security, and performance.

  • Experience with RESTful API integrations and payment gateway solutions.

  • Tools: Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, SonarQube, Kubernetes, GitHub, Terraform.

  • Awareness of Progressive Web Applications (PWA) and composable architecture.
