We're currently supporting a leading professional services firm in their search for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their established finance team based in Leeds City Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a high-performing team responsible for a wide range of cashiering duties. The role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a strong understanding of legal finance processes and regulatory requirements. For the right candidate this role offers: £28,000 - £31,000, hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home), great benefits and excellent progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing payments and receipts across client and office accounts
- Handling CHAPS, BACS, Faster Payments and international transactions
- Managing interest calculations and client money deposits
- Supporting multi-currency transactions for international offices
- Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and VAT regulations
- Assisting with finance queries and project-based tasks, including system testing
- Proven experience as a Legal Cashier
- Strong understanding of SRA and VAT rules
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work
- Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- A proactive team player who can also work independently
