Role Description

The SEO Account Manager will play a pivotal role in the SEO team; supporting the SEO management team, coaching Executives and Analysts, connecting with other channel teams, and critically ensuring that their clients are superbly serviced, retained and grown.

A critical requirement of the role is to develop excellent client relationships, ensure quality of work from Analysts and Executives, and to support Account Directors in efficient production of their requirements.


The successful candidate will be expert in producing and briefing best in class SEO deliverables including keyword research, content gap analysis, technical audits, content recommendations and competitor analysis.


They will have an excellent grasp of industry-leading tools, a keen eye on the latest SEO news and trends, understanding of AI and search alongside ideas as to SEO will grow and be supported in the future.


The successful candidate will need to work closely with agencies partners to ensure that the full value of SEO is communicated and to ensure that SEO is integrated with other channels, for example PPC and Media.


They will be required to support and at times lead in, production of scopes of work, production of POVs and new business support.


Responsibilities

  • Supporting the SEO team to ensure client performance is at an optimal level
  • Working with SEO Strategy Managers to ensure all clients have a future proof, strategic plan in place
  • Ensure the team is achieving against all outlined business KPIs
  • Managing SEO workload and workflow for a number of individuals
  • Ensuring all team and project deadlines are met
  • Supporting strategy, communications and delivery for high-profile SEO accounts
  • Training, mentoring and developing SEO Leads and Executives of varying skill levels
  • Identifying, highlighting & proposing key growth opportunities across the client-base
  • Supporting on developing and attending new SEO business opportunities
  • Educating the wider business on SEO benefits, best practices, etc.
  • Supporting the integration with London
  • Analysis of key data and providing insights / statistical analysis
  • Helping to identify, raise and solve client issues/problems
  • Any other duties as deemed fit by the business


Requirements

  • An exceptionally strong knowledge and understanding of everything SEO
  • A high-level of technical SEO proficiency with experience managing and implementation strategy for large-scale e-commerce and international SEO websites
  • Experience managing a team or a number of individuals
  • A demonstrable track record of providing ROI through SEO strategy
  • Good project and/or workload management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines
  • Strong business writing skills and ability to communicate with board-level members
  • Amazing interpersonal and relationship development skills
  • Strong presentation skills – comfortable in front of large audiences
  • Commitment to embracing change and adaptability
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proactive approach to work
