Are you an experienced and reliable Site Supervisor looking to make a real difference in education?

Veritas Education is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join our team, working across primary schools in West Yorkshire including Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield. If you are passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for students and staff, we want to hear from you!

What you'll be doing:

  • Site Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the school site, including grounds, buildings, and facilities.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks and maintaining safety standards.
  • Maintenance: Manage routine and emergency maintenance tasks, liaising with contractors and ensuring the site is always in optimal condition.
  • Security: Oversee the security of the site, including locking/unlocking premises, and monitoring CCTV.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise cleaning staff, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the school.
  • Repairs & Improvements: Assist with minor repairs, improvements, and special projects to enhance the school's facilities.

Key skills & qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a site management or similar role (school experience desirable but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and contractors.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to site issues.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, with a focus on the safety and wellbeing of everyone on the school site.
