Join us as a Relationship Director
This is an important role in which you’ll lead business and departmental projects and coach the delivery of good outcomes by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate products and services. You’ll ensure your team proactively manages its portfolio with a focus on understanding customer needs while providing additional subscription, consultancy, and training services in support of business plans risk mitigation. You’ll also manage team people metrics including; attendance, recruitment, capability, growth, performance management, and employee relations matters.
You’ll ensure your team is able to demonstrate effective use of tools for proactive contact and strategy planning, resulting in the provision of products and services appropriate to customer needs. You’ll also proactively drive customer satisfaction and brand advocacy with good quality customer and market interactions.
As well as this, you’ll:
We’re looking for someone with strong leadership, planning, organising, and interpersonal skills. You’ll be effective and confident when communicating, collaborating, coaching, and people managing, even when under pressures, and you’ll have the ability to build internal and external relationships. Along with a high degree of commercial acumen and an understanding of the changing economic environment, you’ll have the ability to identify and lead business solutions, bespoke service offerings to customers, and the provision of commercial price quotes.

Join us as a Relationship Director
- We’ll look to you to lead the delivery of strategic objectives by managing a team of Employment Law & HR and Health & Safety Relationship Managers responsible for providing customer focussed solutions across a range of consultancy, training, and packaged products
- Acting as a representative of the business, you’ll be responsible for managing your team to ensure that they proactively manage a portfolio of clients, providing outstanding customer service.
- You will work collaboratively with colleagues in order to maximise internal income opportunities through strong engagement with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises
- You’ll develop a strong external brand for the business by ensuring the team serve customers well with strong service delivery standards, and you’ll be accountable for the delivery of financial, customer, risk, and people objectives

- Observe customer meetings and follow-up with feedback and coaching to improve customer experiences, ensuring consistent execution and attention to detail
- Give clarity and direction on business priorities and role model collaboration to deliver against business development activities and objectives
- Apply relevant tools and agreed leadership principles to continually develop and coach your team and ensure pricing principles are adopted, ensuring fairness and consistency
- Work with colleagues to develop, support, and execute a strategy to support the end-to-end process from business development through to delivery, and to identify threats and opportunities for service enhancements and service innovations

- Qualified in either Employment Law & HR or Health, Safety & Environmental would be advantageous
- Experience of working in a commercial environment and building relationships at senior management level
- The ability to lead others and give feedback
