Our client is looking to appoint a Commercial Litigation NQ or junior lawyer to join their highly rated team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global law firm who have a great reputation. The team deal with a broad range of disputes for Corporate clients across the UK.

Description
The Commercial Litigation NQ / junior lawyer will deal with a range of work including;
- Assisting in managing a portfolio of contentious cases, including high value contractual disputes, IT disputes and procurement disputes.
- Liaise with clients, offering practical solutions and updates on case progress.
- Working with senior team members.
- Getting involved in all forms of ADR
- Support the preparation of cases for hearings, mediation's, and trials.
- Contribute to business development by supporting client relationships and identifying opportunities.
Profile
The successful Commercial Litigation NQ should have / be;
- A qualified solicitor status with a focus on commercial litigation or a trainee who has completed a seat in Commercial disputes during their training.
- Ties to Leeds
- Strong academics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
- A keen interest in dispute resolution.
- Likely to have trained at a large regional law firm, national or international law firm
