The Role
As a Service Desk Analyst this role plays a key part in ensuring internal users have reliable access to IT services, including device setup, access provisioning, and incident resolution. The role will be on-site at our Leeds office, where you will be the first point of contact for IT support, providing assistance remotely and in-person. What you will do
- Maintain accurate ITSM records of incidents, changes, and activities.
- Maintain CMDB for all starters, movers and leavers
- Deliver excellent customer service while supporting internal stakeholders.
- Configure and maintain new or repurposed end-user devices in line with documented procedures using Microsoft Intune.
- Provide first-line support for laptops, desktops, and peripherals, resolving issues or escalating as needed.
- Process access requests and manage service tickets in accordance with security, compliance, and escalation protocols.
You will:
- Have good attention to detail
- Need to be a team player, but self-motivated to work on your own
- Be customer service focused
- Possess good problem-solving skills
- Have a basic understanding of IT infrastructure components (laptops, desktops and networking).
- Familiarity with operating systems, particularly Windows 11 and macOS.
- Have had exposure to O365 applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams)
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Intune is highly desirable and would strengthen your application.
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools and dashboards.
