Join Our Tech Team as a Software Engineer at Cox Automotive Europe!

Are you ready to build software that powers the future of automotive auctions across Europe? At Cox Automotive Europe, we’re not just writing code — we’re transforming the way vehicles are bought and sold.

We’re on the lookout for a Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team within Enterprise Technology. You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking group that’s passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable solutions for our Virtual Auctions Platform — a system that handles hundreds of vehicle transactions daily across the UK.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

  • Impactful Work: Your code will directly support the UK and European Wholesale division, helping streamline vehicle auctions and improve customer experiences.
  • Growth Culture: We foster a challenging yet supportive environment where creativity and continuous learning are encouraged.
  • Modern Tech Stack: Work with .NET, C#, JavaScript, Azure DevOps, and more — and grow your skills with tools like Docker, GitHub Actions, and React.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and developing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
  • Writing unit and integration tests to ensure robust performance.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously learning and staying up to date with the latest in tech.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
  • Proficiency in .NET (C#), MVC, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, TDD, and Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
  • Bonus points for experience with AWS/Azure, Docker, GitHub Enterprise, or React.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Strong communication skills — you can talk tech with developers and translate it for stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset — you ask the right questions and challenge the status quo.
  • A team player who thrives in both collaborative and independent settings.

Ready to take your software engineering career to the next level? Apply now and help us shape the future of automotive technology!
