Jewson Partnership Solutions a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager who is as passionate about great service as we are. Working with Public Sector clients on framework agreements.

Hours – 0730am – 1700pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first line support to the Branch Manager to lead and support the team to deliver success
  • Supporting team of 5 including Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Drivers
  • Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers
  • Understand customer needs and provide proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
  • Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth
  • Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
  • Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
  • Lead your team to make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

Required Skills And Experience

  • Leadership experience gained in Building Material supply business
  • Previous experience working with Public Sector clients is desirable
  • Driving Licence is essential
  • First and foremost, we always want to recruit great people that really understand our values and ways of working.
  • It is important you have can evidence experience in motivating and driving sales for this role.
  • You will already have strong communication and commercial awareness to be able to empower the team to provide great customer service.
  • We would be interested to hear from those with background in plumbing, heating, electrical, ironmongery, timber or heavy side
