About The Client

Our client is a well-established fire and security solutions provider, working exclusively across commercial sectors. Their active sites include high-security locations such as police stations, educational institutions, and student accommodation. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality service, installation, and commissioning works with a commitment to professionalism and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Service, installation, and commissioning of fire and security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire alarms)
• Working across commercial contracts only – no residential work
• Routine and reactive maintenance of live systems
• Participation in a 1-in-5 weekly call-out rota, with paid standby and enhanced call-out rates paid with door to door cover.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to site-specific protocols
• Occasional travel required beyond the core area as dictated by project needs
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience across multiple fire and security disciplines
• Strong knowledge of commercial systems and compliance standards
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Eligibility for enhanced DBS clearance and 5–6 year background checks
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  
  

Benefits

• 40-hour working week (8:30am – 5:00pm) with a 1 hour break per day paid for 30 minutes
• Door-to-door travel paid at all times.
• Overtime and call-out rates: Minimal Call outs!
• Basic (before 6pm)
• Time and a half (6pm – midnight)
• Double time (midnight – 6am)
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• Pension scheme
• Fuel card provided for work travel (personal mileage reimbursed at £0.20/mile)
