The Market Analysis and Policy Department delivers cross-firm analysis, policy, and supervision for wholesale banks and markets. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality administrative support to the Wholesale Market and Wholesale Banks Sector teams, ensuring smooth operations and efficient systems management. Ideal for a highly organised, proactive individual who works independently while maintaining a collaborative approach

What will you be doing?
- Providing essential administrative support, including diary management, prioritising schedules, overseeing IT requirements for new, transitioning and departing staff and handling ad-hoc queries
- Collaborating with the Head of Department’s PAs and the Director’s PA to ensure seamless administrative operations, maintaining adequate coverage and acting as a key point of contact
- Coordinating external meetings, managing logistics such as venue bookings, travel arrangements, accommodation and expense processing

Minimum
- Experience of effectively managing time and organising workload to meet deadlines
- Experience of handling administrative tasks with efficiency
- Experience of communicating clearly and professionally with individuals at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong typing skills with precision and correct spelling in all written communications
- Capability to plan, take initiative and work independently while also contributing as a collaborative team member
- Adaptability to challenges with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Skilled in performing effectively under pressure and meeting tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in using Outlook, OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint to support productivity and collaboration
