Director of Clinical Services
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Location: Leeds (LS6)
Hours: Days - Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
Time Recruitment are looking to recruit a dynamic and driven Staff Nurse to join a private hospital ran by an innovative company who are the leaders in delivering behavioural care to over 25,000 people each year across their 350 services
The company is a long-established group with a prestigious history. Over the years, they have developed an unrivalled reputation for delivering a real and lasting difference for each person who uses the service, and they are the leading mental health rehabilitation and recovery partner to the NHS
We are looking for a dynamic Director of Clinical Services to join this well established team in Yorkshire; the service has great transport links and free parking and an overall good CQC report
Your role as a Director of Clinical Services will be to oversee a 19 bedded standalone rehabilitation and recovery service for adult males across 2 wards; offering bespoke therapeutic programmes and 2 step down apartments
The service focuses on community discharge to support those with complex mental health needs, personality disorder, learning disabilities or autism
Applicants for the Director of Clinical Services must have the following:
- A registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- A recognised post-registration qualification, together with full membership/accreditation of a relevant professional institution and evidence of continuous professional development
- A detailed understanding of statutory regulations is essential
- Passionate about providing high quality care and continuous improvements
- Demonstrated leadership and decision making skills is essential
- Forward thinking, proactive and creative
- The ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment
- Demonstrated high levels of integrity and boundaries
- Experience of working at a supervisory or managerial level within a mental health environment: minimum 2 years working as a Ward Manager or equivalent
- Experience of managing a clinical budget
- Strong background within people management
- Strong background in working with external professionals
- Experience of leading, implementing and reviewing quality initiatives in a related environment
- Strong track record of innovation and creating a positive, proactive and engaging culture
