Paint Technician

Type of the role: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £50,000 OTE (Realistic earnings with uncapped bonus potential)

Hours: Full-time

Company Overview:

Our client is a well-established UK-wide vehicle service provider operating across numerous locations. With a focus on innovation, excellent working conditions, and staff development, they are expanding their team and looking for an experienced Paint Technician to join their high-performing bodyshop in Leeds.

Job Description:

As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality paint finishes and minor body repairs on a variety of vehicles. This role offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art workshop equipped with modern tools and spray booths, where you'll be able to apply your craft and grow within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out paint spraying across a wide variety of vehicles


• Perform minor bodywork repairs when required


• Prep vehicle panels and parts prior to painting


• Mix and apply paint to manufacturer and customer specifications


• Clean, maintain, and manage painting tools and equipment


• Keep accurate records of paint usage and stock

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Body and Paint Maintenance (City & Guilds, IMI, BTEC, or similar)


• Experience in paint spraying—automotive preferred but not essential


• Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes


• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
