"In this role, you’ll work closely with procurement experts and stakeholders from across Arla to build innovative category strategies and deliver tangible value. You’ll have the autonomy to lead supplier relationships and negotiate agreements that make a real difference," says Dennis Möller, Senior Manager – Head of Intralogistic Procurement.

How you will make an impact

As Procurement Category Manager – Intralogistics, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing categories within intralogistics globally. You will develop robust category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with our business objectives.

Your key tasks will include:a

  • Supporting sourcing strategies through market studies to identify best practices, gaps, risks, opportunities, and new suppliers

  • Leading sourcing and supply management activities, including negotiation, evaluation, selection, and agreement with suppliers

  • Managing supplier relationships to ensure compliance with agreements and facilitate effective communication

  • Drafting contracts and leading contract ratification activities in collaboration with suppliers and Legal teams

This role sits within Global Procurement and reports to the Senior Manager – Head of Intralogistic Procurement. You will be based at one of our main European locations; Düsseldorf, Viby, Stockholm, Leeds, or Gdansk and approximately 20–30 days of travel per year are expected.

What will make you successful

You have a relevant academic background - preferably in commercial or engineering fields - and proven experience in procurement or the logistics/intralogistics industry.

To succeed, you bring:

  • Well-versed stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships across cultures and organizational levels

  • A service-minded, pragmatic, and analytical approach, coupled with a solution-oriented mindset and learning agility

  • Proactivity, autonomy, and high energy, enabling you to thrive in a demanding and dynamic environment

Fluency in English and strong MS Office proficiency are essential.

What do we offer?

At Arla, you’ll join a positive and collaborative culture focused on professional development and internal promotion. You’ll work in a team where diversity and innovation are valued, and your impact contributes directly to our customers, farmer-owners, and global sustainability goals.
