Business Development Manager - Part-Time Creative Events Agency Leeds (Hybrid) £35,000 - £40,000 FTE + Bonus.


We working with a creative, full-service event and branding agency based in Leeds, working with some of the largest, well known clients in luxury retail and skincare. From influencer events and branded cafés to activations and conferences, they design and deliver experiences that are bold, meaningful, and memorable.


They are a close-knit team of 15, and we're proud of our incredible retention - both clients and staff stick with us. Right now, we're looking for a Business Development Manager to join the small team and help us grow even further.


What you'll do


This is a proactive business development role. You'll be out there doing what you do best, starting conversations, opening doors and setting up pitch meetings.


You'll be:



  • Using tools like LinkedIn and a ready-to-go target list to develop new clients

  • Making use of a huge bank of case studies and creative collateral to show people exactly how they deliver (this is basically a secret weapon)

  • Working closely with the content developer and MD to refine pitches and strategies

  • Setting meetings, running them, and helping bring in exciting new work


This is not a traditional sales role - it's about building warm conversations, showing value through real projects, and growing trust. You won't be expected to manage delivery - this is about starting the relationship.


About you


We're open to people from agency sales, events, hotel or venue backgrounds - what matters is your confidence in outreach, your love of networking, and your ability to create opportunities.


You might be:



  • A return-to-work parent looking for part-time hours (full flexibility on when you do the 3 days a week)

  • Someone experienced in hospitality or venue sales looking for a creative environment

  • A natural connector who loves finding new leads and telling great stories


You'll be comfortable making the first move - picking up the phone, sending the DM, turning interest into action.


The details




  • Part-time (22.5 hrs/week) - they are flexible on how that's split


  • Ideally Leeds-based - they'd love to have you in the office at least 2 days a week to stay plugged in to the creative energy


  • Car allowance provided - there will be client visits and events so this will come in handy.


  • Start date: ASAP


  • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (FTE) + Bonus.
