What does the role involve?

You will work within our Consumer Finance Risk function and report to the Decision Science and Modelling Manager and focus on monitoring application scorecards we have already built, making adjustments where necessary or creating new/more effective ones for the business to use.

Some Of Your Key Duties Will Include

• Pro-actively identify improvements to the Novuna Consumer Finance credit risk strategy, scorecards and financial models to improve profitability
• Deliver predictability and control of bad debt performance to a planned level of loss
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to support new product development
• Working with Risk Team Managers to support the education of the broader risk team with model development skills and knowledge
  
  

What are we looking for?

You will be able to analyse statistics and data, and be able to share your findings effectively to support business decision making. You will have some knowledge of statistical software/languages such as SAS, SQL, R or Python.

Also, We're Looking For The Following

• Highly organised coupled with the ability to prioritise work
• Knowledge of credit risk systems design and implementation is desirable
• Knowledge of machine learning and forecasting techniques is incredibly useful
• The ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own workload
