Medical Laboratory Assistant


Leeds Hospital | Pathology | Permanent | Full time


Up to £24,531.00 depending on experience


37.5 hours per week


At Nuffield Health, we’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and experience working in a pathology or healthcare environment to join us. If you have strong numeracy, communication, and Microsoft Office skills, our highly motivated and talented team will value what you bring.


As a Medical Laboratory Assistant at our Leeds Hospital, you’ll demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service. In addition to your technical skills in pathology, you should understand how to use laboratory information systems. Phlebotomy experience is ideal but not essential, as we offer training in this area.


As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, your responsibilities will include:



  • Providing high-quality support to our Pathology team

  • Specimen administration

  • Handling enquiries efficiently

  • Prioritising a busy workload

  • Remaining calm under pressure and maintaining professionalism
