With a remit across both Sportsbook (including Trading) and Gaming product verticals, and responsibility for Customer Safety and Regulatory initiatives, this is a broad and influential position suited to a commercially astute finance leader.

This role will report into UKI Finance Director – Operations.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with senior leaders including the UKI Leadership Team to craft the strategic direction of the UKI business and ensure effective mobilisation of resources to deliver against it.
  • Lead the end-to-end financial strategy, planning, and execution of “big bet” strategic projects that drive value creation and business transformation.
  • Evaluate and optimise the various financial impacts of strategic levels impacting customer experience including for example pricing and generosity.
  • Take ownership of all financial aspects of Customer Safety and Regulatory initiatives across the UKI business.
  • Monitor industry and regulatory developments, translating complex changes into clear financial implications and actionable insights.
  • Deliver competitor and market intelligence to inform strategy, growth opportunities, and commercial decision-making.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team (4+ direct reports), while providing broader financial leadership across the division.
  • Collaborate closely with BI, wider finance teams, and Flutter Group teams to share insights, improve reporting, and align strategic priorities.

How You’ll Do It

  • Act as a reliable strategic collaborator for senior leadership—making clear decisions and committed to accomplishing specific objectives.
  • Demonstrate strong financial and analytical capabilities, with the ability to quickly interpret complex data to guide business decisions.
  • Bring sharp commercial judgment and business partnering experience, with the ability to articulate financial performance in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Excel with senior leaders by influencing, and collaborating within a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Cultivate and develop talent, creating a team culture that is agile, high-performing, and future-focused.
