Job Purpose
The National Wealth Fund are excited to offer a 12-month Intern Programme within the IT Team. As the IT intern, your primary focus will be on automated testing, developing and maintaining test scripts to ensure the reliability and performance of our software systems. Working in a small, hands-on IT team at NWF, you’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your experience across various aspects of IT delivery—such as IT operations, Cloud Infrastructure, and Low-code platforms. This includes potential involvement in projects using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.

Working in a small, hands-on IT team at NWF, you’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your experience across various aspects of IT delivery—such as IT operations, Cloud Infrastructure, and Low-code platforms. This includes potential involvement in projects using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.
You Will Gain First Hand Experience On
- Designing, building, and maintaining automated test scripts using automation framework
- Collaborate with developers and business owners to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of automated testing using Azure DevOps.
- Document test plans, test cases, results, and identified issues clearly and accurately.
- Log, track, and help resolve defects found during testing phases.
- Support broader IT initiatives across the software development lifecycle, including hands-on opportunities in:
- Cloud infrastructure (Azure)
- Low-code/no-code application development using the Power- Platform
- Creation of agentic AI experiences using Copilot Studio
- Understand and support to IT operations
- Participate in agile team ceremonies (e.g. stand-ups, planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Current undergraduate student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of computing fundamentals and some experience with programming (ideally Python or Java)
- Interest in testing, automation, and quality assurance
- Willingness to learn new technologies, including low-code tools and cloud platforms
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
