Procurement Category Manager - CAPEX
Location: Leeds, UK (Hybrid Working)
Travel: Required across UK and international sites
iO Associates has partnered with a leading global Food manufacturing organisation to recruit a Procurement Category Manager - CAPEX based out of their Leeds office. This organisation operates across over 60 production sites worldwide and is known for its innovation, sustainability focus, and investment in cutting-edge technologies.
As a Procurement Category Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead strategy for a global CAPEX procurement category, managing end-to-end sourcing, contracts, and supplier negotiations. You'll work closely with cross-regional teams to ensure cost efficiency, drive process improvements, and support global alignment and knowledge sharing.

Must Have
- Minimum of 5 year's strategic procurement experience, ideally in CAPEX, Dairy, construction or engineering-related categories. Experience in dairy technology and civil procurement is a plus.
- A relevant degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a technical discipline.
- Strong commercial negotiation, contracting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
- Willingness to travel across Europe and beyond as this role involves close collaboration with various production sites, procurement colleagues and suppliers, frequent travel is to be expected.
