Skills and Experience

This role would suit anyone who is enthusiastic about working in a structured environment within a large multinational professional services firm. Whether you are a recent graduate, someone soon-to-be graduating, or an individual with experience in the Billing and Finance operations department of a professional services firm, this role offers a great opportunity to grow and develop your skills.

  • Analytical skills: A curious mindset with the ability to analyse complex factual situations and distil the key issues clearly and concisely and influence others through logical reasoning. It is important to be comfortable with numbers.
  • Attention to detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build effective relationships with existing and new clients, introducing clients to other teams or practice groups, being confident to present and lead on calls.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task with ease, whilst maintaining high standards of work. Must be adaptable to change and comfortable with completing ad hoc urgent tasks.
  • Self-management: Ability to self-manage your daily workloads effectively in order to meet strict deadlines and KPIs.
  • Teamwork: Actively demonstrate team work, supporting your peers and management team, to maintain SLAs and KPIs.

What Can The Connect Team Offer?

  • A solid grounding in all aspects of the operational support of key client accounts
  • Experience working with billing and financial data and a basic understanding of accountancy principles
  • The ability to gain presentation skills and facilitating client calls
  • A friendly and welcoming team environment
  • The opportunity to develop intermediate to advanced Excel skills as well as other Microsoft Office products
  • Be at the centre of some of the firms most high profile and visible accounts, building both internal and external relationships

We want all our people to thrive at work and reach their full potential and we work hard to continue to build a diverse and inclusive culture, monitor and report on our progress and impact, and develop our approach. This is reflected in our policies, systems and processes, and in our work with diversity membership organisations.
