Hours: 37 hours per week, all year round
Accountable to: Trust Finance Manager
The White Rose Academies Trust is a Leeds-based multi-academy trust with a reputation for raising ambitions, engaging local communities and rapid school improvement.
The trust consists of three secondary schools - Leeds City Academy, Leeds East Academy and Leeds West Academy, and also welcomed its first primary school (Alder Tree Primary Academy) on 1st December 2020.
Role
As Finance Officer primarily based at Leeds City Academy, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our financial operations. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and Academy Business Managers to manage financial systems, support budget holders, and contribute to the preparation of monthly accounts and reports.
You will work in close partnership with the Trust Finance Manager (FM) to deliver excellent financial governance enabling the Trust to achieve its annual targets, safeguard its assets, deliver value for money and ensure the timely submission of all statutory reports to regulatory bodies and agencies.
