The Opportunity
Radar Healthcare's new Delivery manager
As a Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering culture, enabling teams to become more autonomous and efficient. Collaborating closely with the CTO, Head of Platform, CPO, Product Owners and other leaders in the Technology team, you will ensure that delivery consistently improves and adapts as our business and products evolve. You will use metrics, automation, and tooling to enable and demonstrate continuous improvemen

A competitive salary dependent on experience. This is our first hire for a Delivery manager so are looking to attract all levels of experience rather than hire to a budgeted salary.

Whether you’re an early bird or prefer working from home most of the time, we trust you to get the job done around our core hours. We have a base expectation of 1 day per month in the office but outside of this, although we have a fantastic office in the heart of Leeds (complete with a rooftop bar for the summer months), the choice is yours!

Socials – we get together as a full company at least four times per year, plus at least once a quarter in individual teams, too. Not including all the fun activities being planned by our newly formed social committee.

The Opportunity
Radar Healthcare's new Delivery manager
As a Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering culture, enabling teams to become more autonomous and efficient. Collaborating closely with the CTO, Head of Platform, CPO, Product Owners and other leaders in the Technology team, you will ensure that delivery consistently improves and adapts as our business and products evolve. You will use metrics, automation, and tooling to enable and demonstrate continuous improvemen
What you’ll be doing to make a difference:
- Lead continuous improvement across multiple engineering teams, focusing on increasing delivery cadence, whilst maintaining quality, security and improving team health.
- Develop and refine delivery metrics to offer clear insights into team performance, SDLC dynamics, and product quality.
- Utilise APIs and analyse data from tools such as Jira, GitHub/Azure DevOps, and CI/CD systems to generate actionable insights before full automation implementation.
- Jira expert - configuring projects, workflows, boards, and dashboards to enhance visibility, consistency and optimise workflow efficiency – coaching teams to ensure good Jira hygiene.
- Proven experience: In a Delivery Manager, Engineering Manager, or similar role overseeing at least 2 teams.
- Agile expertise: Strong understanding of core Agile principles with a pragmatic, outcome-driven mindset; ideally having experience of taking teams “Beyond Scrum” to a place where they deliver into production with higher frequency whilst maintaining quality.
- Data and API proficiency: Comfortable working with data and APIs - able to extract, analyse, and interpret delivery metrics independently without needing support from engineers to pull that together.
- CI/CD and DevOps familiarity: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; able to collaborate effectively with platform teams.
- Background in software engineering, QA, or DevOps is a plus
- Demonstrable experience in using AI to improve efficiency and quality across the SDLC
