OUR HOTEL
The Met Hotel, Leeds is mid-transformation — and we’re not just talking fresh paint and new carpets. We’re redefining what it means to stay, work, and lead in a lifestyle hotel at the heart of the city.
With a full refurbishment underway and a brand new cultural identity ready to launch, we’re creating a destination that’s full of personality, soul, and next-level service. This isn’t hospitality as usual, it’s hospitality with edge. And at the centre of it all? Our people.
That’s why we’re on the lookout for a bold, people-powered Interim HR Manager to help steer our team through this exciting transition. This is more than a maternity cover, it’s a rare opportunity to take the reins of a people function mid-evolution, shape the future of our culture, and ensure every team member feels part of something special.
So if you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, champion the human side of transformation, and be part of a hotel where culture is more than a buzzword we’d love to hear from you.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HR MANAGER AT THE MET HOTEL, LEEDS
This is your chance to lead HR at a hotel that’s going places, fast.
You’ll be the go-to people partner for our GM and heads of department, helping to turn vision into action as we bring new values, behaviours and ways of working to life. From recruitment and onboarding to engagement and development, you’ll ensure our people strategy is more than just words on a wall. It’s lived, felt, and celebrated every day.
You’ll be a steady hand during the chaos of change, and a spark of energy when things get tough. You’ll guide our teams through transformation with clarity, empathy, and just the right amount of swagger. It’s a hands-on role with huge influence, the kind that makes a real difference.
If you love shaping culture, coaching leaders, and creating standout employee experiences, you’ll thrive here.
