The role whatyoullbe doing

Border to Coastarenow seeking an ODD Analyst toassistin the monitoring of investments,preparationand maintenance of extensive due diligence reports. You will support investment decision making, monitoring and portfolio construction using internal and external sources of data and research.

Performing ongoing monitoring of existing managers and underlying strategies, including co-ordination of process, you willidentifyODD risks and notify anysuch riskstotherelevant teams.

  • Drive Investment Insight:Assistin preparing andmaintainingcomprehensive due diligence reports using a blend of internal data and external research to support strategic investment decisions.
  • Explore New Opportunities: Contribute to the evaluation and initial due diligence of new investment opportunities, working closely with senior team members.
  • Monitor andOptimise: Support the ongoing monitoring of existing investment managers and strategies, ensuring performance and alignment withobjectives.
  • Collaborate and Contribute: Activelyparticipatein cross-team investment meetings, share your insights, and help shape our investment thought leadership.
  • Engage with Experts: Liaise with third-party service providers, including advisers, consultants, and research partners, to gather insights andmaintainstrong relationships.
  • Champion Risk Awareness:Identifyand communicate risks within your area of responsibility, contributing to a culture of proactive risk management.
  • Support Where Needed:Provide assistance toother teams and contribute to broaderorganisationalinitiatives asrequired.

Aboutyou?- and the valueyoullbring to our team

  • Werelooking for people withakeen analytical mind with a passion for investments and research.
  • Some professional experience, ideally in the finance and investment universe
  • Ideally you would have operational due diligence experience but that is not essential
  • Perhaps youhave accounting experience, investment analyst, work in IT, data, internalaudit, investmentoperations, private markets investment or a related area
  • You might have experience in monitoring and oversight of external investment managers
  • A basic knowledge of private markets, real estate and/ or fund investing is preferred but not essential
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk identification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate effectively
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to interact across departments andestablishrelationshipsin order tosource requisite information and documentary evidence
  • Please note that this is not a KYC/AML due diligenceorinvestmentportfolio managerrole.
