Client Cash Management – Assistant Manager
Our client is looking for a proactive and supportive Assistant Manager to help lead the Client Cash Management team. In this permanent role, you’ll work closely with the Client Cash Management Manager, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the team while fostering a high-performance culture built on collaboration, development, and exceptional client service.

Your Impact
As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining service excellence and driving continuous improvement. You’ll lead by example, coaching and supporting team members while ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily team operations, managing workloads and allocating resources effectively.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Uphold and refine controls that support quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure service standards are consistently met in line with CASS and FCA requirements.
- Coach, motivate, and develop team members, offering regular feedback and guidance.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment that values continuous learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement better ways of working.
- Help individuals align personal development goals with wider business objectives.
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking someone with the confidence and capability to lead others while staying hands-on in the detail. You’ll be just as comfortable analysing a process as you are mentoring a colleague.
Key Requirements:
- Investment Operations Certificate Level 3 (or equivalent), or willingness to undertake.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Strong background in banking or client payments operations.
- Ability to coach and support personal and professional development.
- Analytical mindset, with a flexible and solutions-focused approach.
- Strong awareness of operational risk and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Good working knowledge of CASS and FCA regulations relevant to the role.
