Pinnacle Group is looking for a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at one of our schools. You will be joining our Facilities Team at Lower Wortley Primary School LS12
Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Facilities Assistant and/or Superintendent.
You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence. If you take pride in your work and have a passion for creating clean, safe spaces, we encourage you to apply.
You will be working with a team of school cleaners for 12 ½ hrs per week - Monday to Friday 3.30pm – 6pm, during Term Time, then during the school holidays to work your 12 ½ hours between 10am – 4pm

Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Cleaning toilet facilities, and hand basins and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap & towels
- Damp-wipe tables, chairs desks and hard surfaces
- Vacuum all soft floors and carpets, including barrier matting
- Damp & spot mopping, dusting, polishing of surfaces, fixtures and fittings, sanitising touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces including windows within easy reach
- To ensure you are adhering to the colour coding directives and are regularly changing mop heads, cloths, and other equipment.
- Good knowledge and experience and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment including COSHH and Health and Safety
- Good timekeeping and attendance are important
- Ability to work to laid down schedules.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
- Please Note: Confirmation of appointment will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS)& references
