Developer – Automation Tester - #1796946

Job Description

It’s not just our colleagues we look after - we’ve got a responsibility to our customers too and we work hard on our ambition that nobody is harmed by gambling.   As a Developer – Automation tester in our platform API team, you will be responsible for both the development of new API integrations and the associated testing that is needed to bring them into service, thus providing a first-class service to our internal and external customers.

What you will be doing:

• You will have a broad skill base in development with Java, Java script & XML knowledge, a great knowledge of REST API’s and ideally gateway technologies like Broadcom L7 / Apigee
• You will be visualising and defining test cases and creating the associated documentation to a high standard You will perform testing, checking automated test logs, checking, and resolving test errors and promoting through environments to production
• Working collaboratively with peers in your team you'll be customer oriented, you understand, you care and grab opportunities to improve at every opportunity
• Sharing best practice with other team members and stakeholders
• Ensuring technical debt is managed effectively.
  
  

Who we are looking for:

We are committed to responsible gambling, and we are looking for people who can support our ethos. To apply to this post, you will have:

• Experience in development within an Agile environment with great knowledge of Rest API, API Gateways, Integration patterns
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools, Postman, Jenkins, etc with ability to write code in Java
• Great automated test knowledge with expertise in AWS with Terraform will be a benefit
• Experience in analytically resolving issues with observability tooling you'll be an excellent communicator and facilitator with great team - working attitude.
