Overview

Our client is seeking a commercially minded and qualified finance professional to join their Group Finance function on a 12-month fixed term basis. This role will support senior stakeholders across the Disputes Group, providing critical financial insight, driving performance, and delivering business improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enhance financial performance for the Disputes Group, focusing on profitability and controls.
• Provide data-driven commercial advice to senior stakeholders and partners.
• Lead strategic projects including client profitability analysis, pricing models, and operational efficiencies.
• Deliver monthly performance reports and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Support business planning cycles including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Collaborate on tenders, pricing, and broader commercial decisions.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong commercial acumen and experience advising senior stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and long-term initiatives effectively.
• Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
