You'll support monthly financial reporting across Nobia UK business units, posting journals, completing reconciliations, and preparing relevant monthly accounts. Specific areas of responsibility include:
- Fixed Assets.
- Reports shared with stakeholders regarding current performance/commissions.
- Sales and Cost of sales workings within each business unit.
- Stock reporting and provision calculations.
- Rebates.
- Property Costs (Rent, Rates Utilities).
- Staff Related Costs (Payroll, Travel, Credit Cards, Mobile Phones etc.).
- Monthly reporting requirements to Head Office.
- Manufacturing performance reporting & KPI’s.
- Logistics cost tracking and analysis.
- Timely production of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of reconciling items for area of responsibility.
- Liaising with auditors and other external stakeholders or statutory agencies.
- Experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role.
- Advanced Excel skills (essential).
- Strong financial awareness and attention to detail.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Confidence working independently and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- SAP knowledge (advantageous).
- Flexibility to support the finance team in various duties within the department.
- AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified
