Pump Engineer (Field-Based) – Leeds

What You Will Do

We are actively recruiting Multiskilled Fire Pump Engineers to join our dynamic fire suppression team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for servicing and installing fire pump equipment for a diverse range of clients, including those in the commercial, industrial, public sector, and blue-chip sectors.

We are particularly interested in candidates with hands-on experience working with diesel engines — regardless of industry background (e.g. automotive, agriculture, military, marine, or other sectors).

You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to high-quality service, and a proactive approach to health and safety — ensuring we exceed customer expectations.

How You Will Do It

  • Perform servicing, repairs, fault-finding, and installations across a range of equipment
  • Work on one or more of the following systems:
    • Fire Pumps
    • Diesel Engines
    • Electric Motors
    • Control Panels
    • Generator Sets
    • Submersible Pumps
    • Booster Pumps
What We Look For

  • Essential: Hands-on experience working with diesel engines (any industry background)
  • Experience in fire pumps, electric motors, control panels, or similar systems is desirable but not required
  • A flexible, motivated approach with a strong focus on customer service
  • Well-presented, comfortable using phones and tablets, and takes pride in workmanship
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team with diverse skill sets
