The Role

We are looking for a dynamic forward thinking individual to join our busy credit control team. The Team leader will lead, manage and motivate a team of up to 4 direct reports. The Team Leader will be responsible for driving practice group targets, minimising bad debts for the firm globally and improve overall lockup position whilst maintaining strong client relationships. The candidate will need to build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, be able to use various channels of escalations to resolve complex debt.


Ideally you will have gained two to three years’ experience working within a senior or team leader role, ideally within a law firm or a fast paced industry environment and you will be able to demonstrate working with strong leadership and team management skills.

We are looking for:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Target driven, with the ability to deliver results under pressure
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Finance/Internal and external clients using good negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Identify risks and escalate accordingly
  • SAP knowledge desirable
  • Able to support the business through core business hours (9-5) 35hours per week.
  • Recognise training requirements within the team and upskill team members.
  • Strong Excel and reporting competencies
  • Conduct ledger reviews and provide feedback
  • Someone who demonstrates professionalism in all interactions, both internally and externally.
