Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per annum + Company Bonus + 26 days holiday (+ birthday off)

Working: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (with some flexibility available)

Location: Leeds (Hybrid) 2 days per week, and 2 days working from home

We’re now hiring a Head of Insight to lead the charge on media performance reporting, measurement, and strategic insight – shaping how our clients plan, measure and optimise retail media campaigns.


What you'll do:

Insight Leadership

  • Lead GIG’s Insight strategy across planning, campaign reporting, analytics and market trends
  • Create and deliver an Insight & Planning roadmap, defining future-facing tools, methodologies, solutions and industry partnerships
  • Develop training, processes and frameworks to embed an insight-driven culture across teams

Strategic Delivery

  • Oversee accurate and timely media campaign reporting and delivery solutions for retailer clients
  • Translate media campaign data into powerful stories and actionable insights
  • Lead measurement and effectiveness projects using advanced tools (e.g. MMM, econometrics, predictive modelling)
  • Design custom research projects and automated reporting tools
  • Constantly improve processes, automation, SLAs and team capability

Media Planning

  • Oversee data-led, insight-powered campaign planning for top suppliers
  • Build and embed best-practice frameworks and tools for planning and measurement

Client & Partner Engagement

  • Act as a strategic advisor to retailers and FMCG clients
  • Manage 3rd party insight, data and research partners
  • Resolve issues proactively and drive continuous improvement

Leadership

  • Design, build, lead and inspire a high-performing strategic insight team
  • Drive a culture of curiosity, collaboration and innovation
  • Champion GIG’s values and create a great place to work

Market Trends & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of retail media industry trends and emerging data and tech innovation
  • Share key insights across GIG and represent the business at industry events
  • Deliver thought leadership to raise GIG Retail’s industry profile

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in data, insight and media strategy (retail/FMCG preferred)
  • Strong understanding of retail media networks (RMNs) and measurement methodologies
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on experience in planning, reporting and media measurement
  • Confident client communicator and presenter
  • People leader and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Drive Insight Integrity. Ensure accurate post campaign evaluation reporting and insight is maintained
  • Delivery of insight projects to agreed SLAs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with Insight and Planning deliverables
