Trainee QC Chemist - #2078437

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit an Entry-Level QC Chemist to join their Quality Control Laboratory team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their scientific career who’s keen to gain hands-on laboratory experience, receive full training, and develop professionally – including the chance to work towards further qualifications supported by the company.

Reporting to the QC Manager, you’ll support daily quality testing activities to ensure products meet required standards and production deadlines. You’ll be part of a close-knit laboratory team while also developing the confidence to work independently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out routine quality control testing in line with schedules and priorities
• Logging and managing data using laboratory software systems including LIMS and ERP
• Reporting technical issues promptly and supporting investigation
• Assisting with equipment validation, calibration, and maintenance
• Supporting senior QC team members during peak workloads
• Ensuring all testing and documentation is completed accurately and on time

What we are looking for;

• Strong communication skills and a professional approach
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office – spreadsheets, reports, presentations)
• Willingness to learn and develop in a laboratory environment

Desirable:

• A-levels in a scientific subject

No previous lab experience is required – full training will be provided on equipment and product testing.
