Graduate Assistant Accountant

Leeds | £30,000 + Study Support | Hybrid working

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Graduate Assistant Accountant to join a global consultancy business based on the outskirts of Leeds. This role has been created due to growth following the integration of new client contracts and offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience alongside formal study support.

The Role

You will support the finance team with a range of transactional and reporting activities, gaining exposure to multiple areas of finance.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with invoice and purchase order processing
• Supporting cost allocation and project accounting
• Helping with month-end close activities
• Maintaining accurate financial data within systems
• Supporting reporting for client contracts
• Working closely with finance business partners and senior stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate:

• Recent graduate or early-stage finance professional (AAT / ACCA / CIMA pathway)
• Some prior finance or accounting experience (placement, internship, or entry-level role)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Motivated to progress within a finance career

Location:

This role is based on the outskirts of Leeds. While hybrid working is available, candidates will need access to a car due to limited public transport links.
