Account Manager - #2080984
The SHARP Agency Ltd
Account Manager
Location: Hybrid (2 days a week in our Leeds City Centre office and with travel on other days to clients when required).
Who are we?
Here at Sharp, we solve complex challenges for global brands. As an award-winning brand consultancy, we help brands grow their value through Sharp Co-Create — our proven collaboration platform that builds creative ideas with audiences, not for them. We specialise in Branding, Advertising, Internal Comms and multi-channel campaigns, across different sectors and multiple countries. Fashion to Pharma, Finance to Hospitality, Travel to Healthcare, UK to Japan, Switzerland to the USA.
The Role: Are you fiercely curious?
We are looking for a super keen, curious Account Manager with at least 3 years of strategic agency experience.
If you are the kind of person who constantly asks “why,” loves learning about new industries and is eager to learn and develop within a thriving agency, you’ll fit right in. You will act as the crucial link between our clients and the agency, leading exciting projects from the initial brief right through to delivery. (We will be super impressed if your experience spans a mix of B2B and B2C marketing!).
What you’ll be doing:
Project Leadership: Managing day-to-day strategic brand and campaign projects, ensuring they hit the mark on time, on brief, and on budget.
Client Collaboration: Meeting with clients to discuss projects, take detailed briefs, and present creative concepts for feedback.
Teamwork: Working closely with our Client Services Director, Senior Account Director, and Creative team to produce multi-channel campaigns (offline and online).
Campaign Management: Writing sharp creative briefs, developing timing plans, and producing cost estimates/invoices.
Co-Creation: Managing our signature Co-Creation sessions, arranging meetings, and championing the CoCreate philosophy.
Market Curiosity: Undertaking research, including competitor reviews, to keep our work and your mind fresh and relevant.
End-to-End Delivery: Liaising with suppliers and running jobs seamlessly from early concepts through to final artwork.
Leadership: Taking on potential line management of an Account Executive.
What you bring:
Experience: At least 3 years of strategic agency experience across both online and offline channels.
Curiosity and Drive: An enthusiastic, proactive mindset with a genuine eagerness to learn, critique creative work and develop your career.
Communication: A confident communicator with a knack for building strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
Precision: Incredible attention to detail and strong organisational skills for checking amends, proofreading and multi-tasking.
Platform use: Comfortable using Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
Financially Savvy: Confident handling financial admin (cost estimates, invoicing).
Adaptability: Happy to work independently or as part of a team.
Travel: A full driving licence and a willingness to travel for work, meetings, and CoCreate sessions.
A few fab benefits of working at Sharp:
Working style: Hybrid working and a 4pm finish on Fridays.
Time Off: 25 days annual leave (note: 3 days are used for our Christmas/New Year closure).
Growth: £500 personal training budget to choose courses that suit your development, plus annual performance appraisals.
Wellbeing: ‘MYND time’ dedicated to yoga, mindfulness, and mental health.
Culture: Regular social events (creative, networking, yoga/pilates), in-office refreshments and attendance at the Sharp conference.
Finance: Company pension scheme.
Purpose: Pride in working for a sustainability-minded B-Corp agency.
Ready to CoCreate with us?
We want to see that fierce curiosity in action.
Please send your CV and a cover letter to [email protected]
Hint: Instead of a standard “To whom it may concern” letter, use your cover letter to tell us about a recent brand campaign (from any industry) that caught your eye and why you think it worked. We can’t wait to hear from you!
