The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful international manufacturing organisation undergoing significant transformation and investment. Operating within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, HR plays a visible and valued role in driving business performance, culture and organisational success.
This role has been created as part of continued investment in the people function and offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior HR Advisor looking to step into Business Partnering, or an existing junior HRBP looking for broader exposure and responsibility. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, gain excellent exposure to the Chief People Officer, and join a business recognised for developing future leaders.
Key Responsibilities
This is a broad generalist position offering a mix of operational HR delivery, stakeholder partnering and driving people change initiatives across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice to managers across corporate and operational teams
- Managing employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance and absence management
- Supporting organisational change projects and transformation activity
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Advising managers on employment law, HR policy and best practice
- Supporting onboarding, contract management and employee lifecycle processes
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes and people practices
- Working closely with HR Business Partners and senior leadership teams on wider people initiatives
Ideal candidate
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and wants to continue developing their HR career.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience working within an HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor or Junior HRBP role
- Strong employee relations experience with confidence managing cases independently
- Experience supporting managers in operational or fast-moving environments
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) desirable
