We're partnering with a highly respected agency that is looking to appoint an exceptional Head of Social who can drive social-first thinking across projects, pitches and creative strategy.
This is a rare senior leadership opportunity for a senior social leader to shape how social thinking influences an entire agency! You'll be responsible for defining creative excellence across social channels, influencing integrated campaigns, strengthening new business performance, and ensuring social remains at the forefront of modern marketing thinking.
We are looking for a Head of Social who can combine strategic vision, team leadership and deep platform expertise, bringing a strong understanding of culture, audience behaviour and emerging technologies to deliver standout work for ambitious brands.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you'll help shape the agency's social direction while championing innovative, culturally relevant platform-native ideas.
You'll work closely with creative, strategy, client services and growth teams to ensure social insight informs campaign development from the outset, helping to create work that is both effective and creatively distinctive.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Social Creative Excellence
- Define and evolve the agency's approach to social-first creativity.
- Establish best practice across storytelling, content formats, audience engagement and platform behaviours.
- Ensure work consistently reflects cultural relevance and creative ambition, we are looking for standout social creation.
- Challenge teams to push ideas further and raise the quality of creative the output and campaigns.
Drive New Business Success
- Play a leading role in pitch development and agency credentials.
- Create compelling social-led concepts that strengthen the proposition and differentiation.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to present ideas with confidence and authority.
- Contribute to improving pitch performance through exceptional creative and innovative thinking.
Influence Agency-Wide Thinking
- Collaborate across strategy, media, creative and client teams to strengthen integrated campaigns.
- Bring a social lens to broader marketing challenges and opportunities.
- Encourage teams to identify cultural moments, trends and audience behaviours that enhance effectiveness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and clients.
Develop People & Creative Capability
- Mentor and support social talent across the business.
- Create an environment where constructive challenge and growth are encouraged.
- Build confidence, judgement and raise creative standards throughout the team.
- Help shape a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Grow the Social Offering
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through social-led thinking.
