We are looking to recruit a Junior Site Manager / Graduate Site Manager to join our team. This is a travelling role working on projects nationwide. This position would suit a construction graduate, assistant site manager, or junior construction professional looking to gain real experience on live construction projects.
The right person for this role will be a strong communicator with a confident personality. You will be expected to take ownership of your work, show initiative, and be willing to learn quickly. This role will suit someone who is hardworking and understands that early career effort leads to long-term progression.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior manager to gain real experience and have involvement in all stages of construction management.
The Role
You will work alongside experienced project and site managers on live construction projects, assisting with the day-to-day management of site activities and gradually taking on more responsibility as you gain experience and training.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with day-to-day site management
- Coordinating subcontractors
- Checking RAMS
- Issuing permits
- Completing site inductions
- Carrying out health & safety inspections
- Progress reporting and site documentation
- Assisting with project planning and logistics
- Attending and leading site meetings
- Supporting project managers across multiple projects
- Tracking budgets
- Carrying out site surveys and inspections
- Assisting with technical documentation and reports
- Completing measured surveys and 3D scanning using specialist equipment
- Working with Principal Contractors, Principal Designers and clients
Projects are located across the UK, so travel and staying away from home during the week will be required.
Occasional weekend work may be required depending on project requirements.

About the Company
NU Management Ltd is a small but growing consultancy working on specialist construction projects within:
- Food factories
- Cold storage facilities
- Industrial buildings
- Distribution centres
- Commercial / industrial l fit-out projects
We are not a large corporate contractor. You will work directly with managers and gain hands-on experience on live projects.
This role offers real responsibility and the opportunity to progress into a Site Manager / Project Manager position within a company that will support your development as a construction manager.
Training will be provided both on the job and through relevant courses and certifications.
Requirements
Essential
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willing to travel and stay away during the week
- Good communication skills and confident personality
- Strong IT skills
- Practical and organised approach to work
- Comfortable working on live construction sites
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Construction related degree, HNC, NVQ, or similar experience
- CSCS card
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Previous site experience
- Experience on commercial or industrial projects
- Knowledge of CDM regulations
- AutoCAD experience
