CAD Technician

Leeds - Commutable from Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Dewsbury, Batley, Pudsey

£35,000 to £40,000 + Training + Progression + Early Finish Friday + Benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician to join a growing manufacturer, where you'll play a key role supporting bespoke projects from design through to manufacture whilst developing your technical expertise and progressing your career.

This company is a specialist manufacturer supplying bespoke products to commercial projects across the UK and internationally. Having built an excellent reputation over several decades, they continue to grow and are now looking to recruit a CAD Technician.

In this role, you'll be responsible for producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings, creating manufacturing and assembly documentation and supporting Project Managers and Production teams. You'll work on a variety of bespoke products and projects, ensuring customer requirements are translated into accurate manufacturing drawings.

The ideal candidate will have experience producing manufacturing drawings within an engineering or manufacturing environment and be proficient with AutoCAD and 3D CAD software such as Inventor or SolidWorks.

The Role:

• Producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings
• Creating manufacturing and assembly drawings
• Supporting Project Managers and Production teams
• Office based in Leeds

The Person:

• CAD Engineer, CAD Technician, Draughtsperson or similar
• Experience producing manufacturing drawings
• AutoCAD experience
• Inventor, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
• Commutable to Leeds
