Description
The Employment Solicitor will be:
- Advising clients on a broad range of employment law matters
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims from inception through to conclusion
- Working with employers on disciplinary, grievance and capability matters
- Advising on discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal issues
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures
- Delivering training sessions and legal updates to clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Helping on business development and networking initiatives
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider employment team
- Contributing to the continued growth of the Leeds practice
Profile
The Employment Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor with 1 to 5 years PQE in employment law
- Experienced in managing Employment Tribunal matters
- Comfortable advising on both contentious and non contentious employment issues
- Commercially aware with strong client relationship skills
- An excellent communicator with strong drafting abilities
- Keen to participate in business development activities
- Able to work collaboratively within a high performing team
- Motivated to develop their career within a large national practice
Job Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £70,000 per annum.
