Interim Management Accountant - 6 Month Contract - #2090734

An established and growing business within the wider construction sector is seeking an experienced qualified Management Accountant to join the finance team on an initial 6-month contract .

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is able to quickly take ownership of core financial processes, allowing senior stakeholders to focus on wider strategic priorities.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities are likely to include:

• Preparing and maintaining short and medium-term cash flow forecasts
• Reviewing and supporting the submission of VAT returns
• Reviewing CIS returns and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
• Assisting with the production of monthly management information
• Supporting month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations
• Identifying opportunities to improve existing financial processes and controls
• Providing ad hoc financial analysis and support across the wider finance function

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Previous experience operating at Management Accountant level within a busy finance environment
• Comfortable working independently and able to hit the ground running
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience within construction, housebuilding or a project-based environment would be highly advantageous, although this is not essential

The company offers a competitive salary. minimum 6 months with a chance to extend and hybrid working.
