About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to transform complex people and operational data into meaningful insights that support business performance, strategic planning, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with HR, business stakeholders, and data teams, you will develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations that enable informed decision-making and drive operational efficiency across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse people and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Excel.
- Present insights and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support business teams in understanding and effectively utilising data.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to data governance standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Hands-on experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Excel.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
- Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within transport, logistics, utilities, infrastructure, or other operationally focused industries.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and/or statistical analysis techniques.
- Relevant qualification in Data Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Success Measures
- Delivering accurate, insightful, and trusted reporting.
- Producing high-quality dashboards and reports within agreed timescales.
- Supporting data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and enhancing the overall reporting experience.
