Business Analyst

Location: Leeds (Hybrid)

Salary: £50k per annum

I'm recruiting for a Business Analyst with a leading organisation based in Leeds. This opportunity would suit someone with a broad business analysis background and experience working across multiple business functions, helping to improve processes, systems, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with business stakeholders to map current processes, identify pain points, and define future-state solutions.
• Create user stories and requirements to support agile delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Work closely with SMEs, architects, and transformation teams to design target business processes aligned with strategic objectives.
• Support the transition from current to future processes, ensuring successful adoption and business change.
• Collaborate across teams to manage priorities, mitigate risks, and support successful project delivery.
• Produce clear documentation, communicate progress to stakeholders, and provide regular programme updates.
• Challenge existing ways of working to drive continuous improvement and deliver transformation outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within a complex corporate environment.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Strong process mapping, requirements gathering, and business transformation experience.
• Understanding of CRM, ERP, and billing platforms.
• Experience analysing data models and translating business requirements into user stories.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement and Finance & Operations).
• Data Lake and Power BI.
• Billing platforms such as Microsoft, AWS, or Cloudmore.
• Azure DevOps, Jira, Lucid, or similar BA/process-mapping tools.
• BPMN process modelling.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Word, Teams).
