The successful candidate will become part of a supportive and collaborative team, handling a broad range of contentious matters while benefiting from genuine opportunities for career development and progression.

  • Professional negligence claims

You will take ownership of your files from inception through to conclusion, working closely with experienced colleagues while developing your technical expertise and client management skills.

  • Handling matters through all stages of the dispute resolution process.
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence and court pleadings.
  • Maintaining accurate time recording and file management practices.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Supporting senior members of the team as required.
  • Contributing to the continued success and growth of the department.
About You

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive status.
  • Approximately 3 years' PQE, although applications from candidates with slightly more or less experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in litigation, ideally including exposure to commercial disputes, property litigation and/or professional negligence matters.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities.
  • The confidence to manage files independently while recognising when support is required.
  • A proactive and professional approach to work.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
Salary & Benefits
  • Competitive salary dependent upon experience.
  • Attractive bonus scheme.
  • Hybrid working arrangements following an initial training period.
  • Supportive and collaborative working culture.
  • Excellent work-life balance.
  • Generous annual leave entitlement and additional benefits.
  • Healthcare cash plan.
  • Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities.
  • Employee wellbeing support programme.
  • Social, charitable and community engagement initiatives.
  • Paid volunteering day.
