The Resident Involvement Officer will play a key role in engaging with residents, ensuring their voices are heard and their feedback is incorporated into decision-making processes. Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance resident involvement in organisational decision-making processes.
  • Organise and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events to gather resident feedback and foster collaboration.
  • Act as the main point of contact for residents, addressing their queries and ensuring their concerns are escalated appropriately.
  • Coordinate surveys and other feedback mechanisms to assess resident satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the property department to ensure resident needs are reflected in service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports on resident engagement activities and outcomes.
  • Promote inclusivity and ensure that all residents have equal opportunities to participate in initiatives.
  • Support the development of policies and practices that incorporate resident input.

Profile

A successful Resident Involvement Officer should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit or housing sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse communities.
  • Proficiency in organising events, meetings, and workshops.
  • Ability to analyse and report on feedback data effectively.
  • Understanding of housing and property services is advantageous.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks.
  • Commitment to promoting equality and inclusion in all activities.
